Mr. Abdur Rauf Khan


Abdur Rauf Khan is Country Director Oxford Policy Management, Islamabad. He has over 23 years’ experience in programme management with expertise in aid coordination, financial management, climate change and general management skills, including administration and project leadership as well as overall staff management. He has managed different projects including US $ 108 million challenge fund under Pak Italian debt swap, Climate Proofing growth and Development Project, Third Party Monitoring for World Bank Multi Donor Fund (MDTF) and coordinated various Impact Evaluations programs such as Citizen Damage Compensation Programme and Benazir Income Support Programme. He has well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a strong theoretical background in Development Economics and Economic Policy Management with emphasis on cross cutting themes such as gender, environment and poverty. He has been instrumental in building local consortium and team resulting in winning bigger bids. His work experience also includes working on all aspects/stages of project from preparation and design to its monitoring and evaluation.
